On Sunday 11th March 2012 we organized a meeting at the ADMC discussing the increase of teenage smokers in the UAE. We were happy that Mr. Hedley attended the meeting; all the group was on time.
The chairman started with the first item, the increase of teenage smokers in the UAE; all the group agreed that it is a major problem that the government should take action to stop. Hedley suggested that the government must force tobacco companies to pay taxes if they want to sell their product; the chairman also added malls and restaurants who allow smoking must be fined if they ignore the law.
In my view the meeting went well and the group participated in an organized way; one thing I didn’t like is the meeting room because it was small.
